Occurs naturally in essential oils
As a fragrance material, we use limonene as a note in combination with neroli or mandarin essential oils. It occurs in many of our fresh, handmade products as a constituent of essential oils.
This colorless or pale yellow liquid occurs naturally in many essential oils, such as lime, lemongrass, neroli, grapefruit, tangerine, peppermint, rose, sage and fennel. It has a sweet, lemon-like odor and is also found in lemon rind.
