A spicy, woody fragrance
We use rosewood oil in perfume blends to give products an uplifting and earthy fragrance. Rosewood oil is also lovely on the skin, providing a powerful cleansing and balancing effect.
Rosewood oil comes from the rosewood tree, which is native to Brazil and can grow to reach 125 feet tall. The oil is colorless, but has a spicy, sweet and woody aroma. It's obtained from the tree's wood chippings using steam distillation.
